Hi Human Righters
Have you seen the MeeWee Wattle flag ?
Your ongoing human rights e-mail as political identities has inspired me to ask: just what are we all still waiting for?
We need to remind Australia that William Buckley did come back and with a good store of Aboriginal cultural knowledge. But the chance was lost by mainstream white colonial society, and a window of opportunity for redressing the 19th Century wrongs done to Indigenous people was ignored and it closed.
Likewise, hasn't a peak period for the Political Party passed ?
The light on the hill cannot shine out from the fog of the deregulation that working class politics foisted on all working people in Australia in the name of necessity.
But just how can we reject party politics for a Fair Go Australia and be political identities in support of political life outside moribund parties by joining in to identify with a Political Name and NOT a Political Party ? Politics is life or death to a global majority, and we should respect the majority of people's global reality that Politics is not a game. The choice is ours to design what are we looking to achieve under a political name.
AUSpics is one proposal for that name, which I wish to put to you to see if there are any takers out there to help bring it further into a simpler, attractive and popular shape .
Australia's Political Independence Constitution Strategy !
We need something effective like this to get a bigger picture of what the Government is proposing for our future out to every ordinary person in the community.
Isn't an oz album of AUSpics an attractive start ?
We all should stand up saying no more to the old staid, and cruelly conservative Australia of "successful men" !
Women have stood up and shown the way to overturn the arrogantly colonialist and the smugly elitist attitude still ruling us all: "Do what we say and not what we do".
We have it in us all together as ordinary Australians to work together and eradicate the bad legal constraints that are drowning a common good conscience in a sea of cant.
It is not idealistic to overturn the shackles of an inhumane and stultifying past. Clearly women have made a start and we should now finish all the "unfinished business" in Oz.
Ordinarily decent Australians now need to take up the cause of making a decent and compassionate form of government for every Australian that enshrines a common set of moral human rights values which are capable of redirecting the current descent of Australian values up out of their low level as an evil morass of racist, sectarian and xenophobic hatred.
We need to reject the fear of being stigmatised and instead wear our principles with commitment and daring for all to see.
Having a website devoted to identifying those who wants to see more change than a ritualistic incantation of a Republic, is one very modern opportunity to sweep away the rhetoric of disillusionment being kept in the public eye by failed men.
